I am sorry for ruining your progress thread with pics but I am real curious what the difference in. This is the pic Renton posted in his thread of his DFS Pink panther. Is yours the same.

It seems like Jda's frag, that once you get it growing it seems to grow at an alright speed. Renton said he started the original colony about 6 years ago but about a year ago he cut the colony into 5 equal sizes and he regrew that one out to what you see in the pic.

Mine came from Adam. I heard a rumor that the DFS one was from there too, but I do not know if it is true.

Mine is more pink than that. That looks 100% granulosa to me... what an awesome growth pattern.

The Pink Panther jda has is most likely an Acropora Brueggemanni.

I do not think that the PP is a granny. The one that pic looks like a granny or lokani to me with the table shape and mulit-colored branches... the PP of mine is monochromatic... not even the leading growth edges are white.

From his thread "The display is lit with AI Sols and a custom LED strip that puts out a lot of cyan (sea greenish) color. All of which run varying intensity and colors over the course of the day."

I've seen a large colony and it was actually a table. He got the frag from Adam. Was really impressive. I heard the guy lost it after many years and the skeleton sits on his cabinet.

Update photo... along with one of my PMs.

Something nibbled on it a bit on the bottom and ate it down into the skeleton. It is healing up now and growing pretty well.

The guy that I got my frag from lost his colony, so I am feeling the pressure...

Oh know I hope this little guy grows big and strong for you!

Justin Premo had by far the nicest looking colony of PP i have ever seen, probably about 5-6 years ago now. If he still has that one growing, then he is the king of all Panthers guaranteed. Anyone know if Justin's still in the hobby?

I was looking through RC the other day to see if I could find Justin . Not sure if he’s there still .

Here’s mine - grand child from Adam’s frags
