There’s just something about that black and orange on an Achilles Tank that I’ve always liked. Honestly doubt I’ll ever have a tank big enough for one though.

I just paid $300 for a 5 inch Purple Tang, prices are definitely up.Purple, I upgraded my tank so I could finally have one but with COVID restrictions you can’t buy them right now. Well, my LFS said there are captive bred ones available for order, but would be $800 for one fish! Apparently gem tangs are cheaper and easier to get than purple tangs now... A guy can’t win.
The only fish I don’t have yet is the wrasseI love the atlantic blue tang. Pictures don't do them justice, in person the blue is insanely intense, even under normal lighting. Made friends with several of these guys snorkeling.
Under blue light, I love my yellow tang, even though he's super common, especially since he tends to keep his fins on full display:
ugh I miss my mustard tang. It ended up jumping the tank one night and found it on the floor in the morning. Such a cool tang with awesome personality.I love my Mustard Tang, not a very common tang either
What? That’s wild! It’s usually the other way around.Purple, I upgraded my tank so I could finally have one but with COVID restrictions you can’t buy them right now. My favorite are purple tang Achilles tang blonde naso tang and orange shoulder tangJust wondering what everybody favorite tang is. I just went with the 10 that I think are the most popular.
Is that your tang? Or is that a picture from the internet. If it was you, that is an amazing picture
Pretty uncommon in the hobby due to their max size (20” ish) but I saw these in a shark lagoon at a public aquarium when I was little and fell in love
