Our Lyretail Anthias starter hiding out under a shelf today, and when I saw him dart out for dinner he was (a) skittish and (b) had this white ring on one eye. Looks like maybe he got tangled with ourdwarf angel or perhaps the newly-bossy Two-spot tang. Anything I should do here?
I don't have a QT, but I do have a smaller FOWLR tank i could put him in, but that tank has shrimp and a Hatian Nem. So I'm not inclined to dose meds unless I *absolutely* have to.
Params are all pretty good, tank is 5mos old and he's been in DT for 4 months.
Salinity 1.025
pH 8.2
Alk 10.4
NO3 20 (high, I know)
PO4 0.2
Ca 360
Mg 1280 (slowly dosing to increase)

From looks of it’s eye, it’s likely a result of scratch or injury in which you know they are active yet skiddish.
Best and effective treatment is Maracyn which is ethromyacin for 5 days in a quarantine setting (1 packet per 10 gallons)
