Hey everyone

I just bought my first RO filter and have never used one before. It came with no instructions and I believe that I'm doing something wrong because the water comes out at 230 ppm even after flushing the system for 1 hour. Could someone take a look and tell me if im doing somethin obvoiusly wrong?

People in the thread nailed it - your flush valve was open.

With your flush valve open the flow of your concentrate (aka waste water) looks very limited - this would lead me to believe your feed pressure is low. Unfortunately you bought a system with no pressure gauge. Good news: a Pressure Gauge Add On Kit is not expensive.

You'll also want to orient that little inline DI cartridge so it is vertical, with flow going from the bottom to the top.

Looking at how this system is configured, I'd be concerned about what is in every filter stage. Do you know?
