I am looking for other big fish to accompany my purple tang. Do you have a purple tang and other reef-safe big fish and they get along? what are they? Thanks in advance!

Not trying to get all tang police on you, but the size of your tank would determine whether or not you can safely mix other tangs with it. I do agree a foxface would be a good choice.

Fox Face won't eat snails or corals.
What size tank? Might get more ideas from that.

Pyramid butterflies are cool.
As are heniochus butterflies.
The above mentioned tangs are nice.
Other large fish that would work dependent on other tankmates would include soldierfish and squirrelfish.
Marine bettas and blue devil plesiops .

Yea, Naso would work.

+1 You have a lot of options with a 210 gal. Foxface, Naso, flasher/fairy wrasses, a harem of anthias, Pyramid Butterfly, etc. Mixing tangs can get hairy sometimes, but if you take care to only add tangs from different genuses... that usually works in a big tank like yours.

I have a blue tang (larger than pt) and a kole tang (smaller than pt). He definitely leaves the blue alone. He is semi-aggressive to the kole but they went through QT together so that made them an easier combination.

i had a Powder blue with my Purple, they did NOT get along... got rid of the powder blue....
I have angels with my purple... they chase each other but nothing crazy. Not exactly reef safe too... i cannot keep certain things but my hammers torches and frogs are fine.

My purple didn't like anything with a similar shape. In order for me to get a sailfin in, I changed my aquascape (was doing so anyway) and took my purple to cozy up in a tank with his new tankmate @ the LFS post quarantine. After two days I brought them both home, watched them chase each other around for 2 hours and then things magically just settled.

+1 Naso, unless you really want to go through a hassle.
