New name would be "alice in wonderland zoa" if I was to name it. Its the first thing that comes to mind when I see it. Good luck :)

Midnight Passion is what came mind when I saw these but since it's not on the poll, I vote Cosmic Collision.

They're close but not the same.

You sure? Lighting can make them look slightly different, as i'm sure you know. I've seen many morphs of the same Sticky Punch. Collection location, depth, light penetration, etc... Only to change again in a customers tank for most of the same reasons. There is only one other reason i can see that's worth giving them a new name. Unfortunately that is the main problem of the name game. These were named before you and even before i jumped in the game.

Nice zoas anyway for sure! Hawaii Sticky Punch have always been one of my favorites from these waters. :)

For sure Sticky punch can be highly variable. But you and I both know the name got stuck on a few different varieties that deserved a name.

This one in particular gets a white sheen kind of like seductions. The ones in the photo came from a shaded part of the colony and didn't get the high light like the others.

I'll try and get a pic of that portion.

It the mean time it's all for the people. These guys on R2R are having a good time! Plus there is a free giveaway for these. I haven't listed them or anything.

I've never seen "seductions" before. I would like to see the white sheen you speak about. Sounds cool.

Depending what side of the island i collected the Sticky Punch made the most of the difference. Depth wasn't that far off between the spots i found. I've had them vary as much as the two pics below. Though i've seen the second pic turn into the first depending on tank lighting.

I remember you use to call the first pic "Purple Rain PE" which i thought was great.

The second pic I call Martian's.

I've got my system down to where they hold their color pretty good to how I originally found them. Maybe it's the Halide's.

I know good lighting and good nutrients is key. Also a slightly elevated Magnesium level helps.

That's funny you remember that, because i don't. probably true. see what this naming does. lol

Halides are the best way to go with zoas, no doubt.
