[Lionfish Lair]

Gee, what is that you see on the second floor as you enter my house.....

Oh! It's perfection! That's right.

Nate did this for me and my husband's anniversary as we met through seahorses. Not only is that an awesome painting, it's an awesome likeness. When I unwrapped it I said "It's Big Red!" (who has been dead for 6 years now).

Nate, you didn't put up the painting on the filefish!

I have been working on a smaller scale this week and to loosen up and not use any pencil sketches. Working smaller seems to be less restrictive then i thought. These are all 5 x 7" except the frogfish..that is 3.5" x 5..

why do things always look better in multiples?

and something a little bit different.. I did this for Baltimore Green Works Eco Ball..they auctioned a bunch of stuff off for a benefit last weekend. Its the Apex Scavenger of the Chesapeake Bay- Inner Harbor Crab Pigeon
