Was the tank not on a GFCI circuit?
The fish should not have been affected by the electricity as they are not grounded. However, current going through seawater causes electrolysis and can change the composition of the water - does the water look gray/cloudy?
Be sure that you are very careful for your own safety working with this issue as you are grounded….

Thanks for the quick reply .the water doesn't hasn't changed.
My 3 of my fish died. The rest not swmikng but breathing .I have put a extra air pump and a wavemaker to oxygenated the tank .

Nor sure if the pump would have reeled some chemical. There was a foul smell once it burst

Yes, some motors are oil filled. Can you move the fish or change the water?

This how the sump.looks like with contaminants. Carbon kinda things floating.

I think this would have gone to the main display and caused the issue

It was a chinese atmon 106 ac pump .there was less wanted in the sump it got over heated and caused the bust
Lots of Chinese ones especially if based on the rio pumps were oil filled and or had really bad epoxy. Run carbon asap and water changes
