for people that are worried about alk or a sps heavy, its worth it.
I'm liking it so far ,easy setup. I bought mine used :but I'm liking the idea of it controlling the dos module. Im going to try and get that later.
its great for someone who might be gone for three weeks once a year, like me.
setup the reef breeder lights to a more custom, it was a little bit of a pain. mainly because you have to do each hour for 6 channels.
update well nitrates bottomed out on me and had a cyano outbreak happen. I have increased feeding and been dosing for nitrates to get them back up. which its working the cyano is receding. everything is still happy and growing. test acro is growing great its still encrusting the frag plug. birds nest is growing, and the two monits are happy and growing. zoas, acans and etc are doing well also I will post up pictures later, just to keep up the documentation on how everything is growing. Super happy with the setup
Cyano is gone now, with the nitrate elevated. Just need to keep an eye on it. I have backed off in nitrate dosing seeing as it is where I wanted it. It was three small spoonfuls three times a week, it down to one scoop a day. I can increase or decrease if needed.
update, trident was reading wrong on both ca and mag. installed a new reagent for both ,the ca test results improved but mag is still off. I slacked off on my manual cleanings and have had some algae issues but noting major, pulsed up the cleaning crew to help out.
broke down the smaller tank and added the sixline wrasse that was in it to the main display. I had my doubts but it has shown no signs of aggression to any of the other fish.
fragswap purchases are all doing fine except for two which didn't last. but they where both from the same vendor. so I'm letting murphy's laws rule on them. Everything I got from seased is going, love the chalice. ill try and update with photos also later today or tomorrow.
