Sorry haven’t checked your thread in a while. Lots of great updates! How’s the cycle coming along? Might be a little late now but if you’re still cycling I highly recommend using Fritz Turbo Boost. Cycled my tank in 24 hrs! Good stuff!

it's the holidays; we all get busy. the cycle is pretty much done, so next im thinking fish stocking next. I only have one fish in the frag tank, a six line wrasse. so the option are still pretty open.

On your t5 lights where they the dimmable ones from brs?

No my T5s are the regular kind. Though what I have done is turn the intensity on my Radions down for the duration that the T5s are on. That way, the overall PAR remains roughly the same.

So far things are looking pretty good. Only a few weeks inn to the T5s being on though.

Installed some work lights in the sump area, also a pic of the lights up top. They are just running on the pre programed settings.

I dipped in the garage funds and went with the reefbreeders light fixture. they are nice i haven't fully programmed them yet. might do that after work.

also beginning to think of stocking list? right now it only has a lawnmower blenny in it for algea control.

Reefbreeders are really nice lights! Seen lots of people with great success using them.
I would caution you against the lawnmower blenny. They might be hit or miss on the algae and just end up starving. At least that’s what happened with the two that I got. Didn’t touch the algae and just starved in spite of me adding food for them to graze on.
If it’s just the normal cycling algae you have, just wait it out and let it run it’s course. An army of snails and hermits should do the trick. A combo of turbo and trochus snails cleaned up my tank really good.
