I'm looking to ship some corals to a few people but I have no idea where to get shipping supplies such as boxes, heat/cold packs, etc. Where do you buy your supplies from?

You can get heat packs from rldtheheatsource.com. Depending on how large a box you need and how you're shipping USPS boxes are free. Other boxes with insulation can be bought from coldchaintech.com, but they're expensive for just a few corals because they have a large minimum order. You might be better off getting a few boxes from Staples or Office Depot and lining it with insulation board from Home Depot or Lowes. Cold Chain Tech caters more to businesses. As far as bags, I'm not sure. I get all mine from my wholesalers.

I would encourage you to get 40hr or more heat packs as a just in case. Never know when you'll need the extra. Styro coolers aren't necessary, but are convenient. I usually get a huge sheet of pink styro from Home depot and cut it to fit the boxes. I got the boxes for free from usps. they are 8x8x8 very cool size and cheap for shipping rates.

$1 for a 40 hour heat pack is pretty decent if you're buying small quantities. They don't really drop in price until you get case lots, which can sometimes be up to 250.
