I think I would spend as much time admiring the Plumbing as I would looking at the tank. Fl Gator that is one nice looking plumbing job.

Haha yeah I'm not going to lie the plumping made moving it alot easier!

Gate valve for main drain, ball valves for everything else. Manifold operates two reactors, and an extra line for the refugium. All valves and elbows are from BRS. Works like a champ. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!!

Good gravy...how much are you guys spending on sch80 fittings and colored PVC? Beautiful setups, but personally I'll take plain white PVC hidden under the stand and more corals in the tank! Maybe I'm just jealous!

LOL, PVC fittings/pipe are easily the cheapest aspect of reefing... I don't even factor in the cost to my total build. A 1" sch 80 elbow is like a $1.40 and a colored one is a $1.75. The only thing that is pricey at all are the gate valves.

Agree :)
And IDK about anyone else, but whenever someone new is checking out my tank, they want to check out EVERYTHING, which includes my sump, so having good looking plumbing really adds to the aesthetics :)

Yep, except for the learning curve of measure once, cut many times....start over....rinse....repeat......it truly was the least expensive and most fun part of the build for me.

I don't worry about how it looks as much as how it flows. Straight into the tank with no reductions. My "nozzle" is 1.25". This way you can use a dc without over working the pump.
