Had this flame angel for about a week today noticed a single white spot on its side, still acting normal doesn’t seem stressed. The lfs I got him from keeps their salinity low but not low enough for hypo so that makes me a little paranoid ima keep an eye on him hopefully it’s just a scraped scale or something but I thought I would be proactive and see what the reef2reef community thought
Many thanks and much love

The bump almost looks like a scaple encounter from a tang somewhere in its recent past. Probably heal up and not be an issue? Fish looks healthy in all other respects. GL. :smiling-face-with-sunglasses:

Can be a simple sand grain stuck to it or a nick injury. Simply keep an eye on it to assure it does Not Multiply
