Know the name?
It's a no-named maricultured piece I scored at my local fish store. While I was waiting on this tank, my frag tank had a few major parameter/temperature swings. During that time this piece changed so I'm not sure if the current coloration is from stress or a permanent change.

Here is the piece once settled in a few months ago, before the change.

I've decided to replace my 2 mp40wqd with a Tunze 6150 Stream 3. Man dies this move some water! I'm tempted to go BB on the tank so i can crank this up a bit. currently shooting along the back of the rockscape and is pairing well my my 2 gyre pumps. It also cleaned up some of the back wall aesthetically

Battling a little green cyanobacteria on the sand in some spots so I'm backing off my ammino acids slightly. Overall color is coming back and getting decent growth on some pieces. I'll update with pictures once the sand settles to the new pump.

Beautiful Tank! Nice job on the build! It will be cool to watch it mature and grow out!
Thanks dansreef! I've seen some improvement in color and growth on some pieces already. I'll take some more detailed pictures soon.

Also I have a Naso tang, exquisite wrasse and sunburst anthias with a week left of QT. Hopefully they are excepted on the reef without issue.

The new tunze pump really cranks out some nice flow. So nice I'm tempted to remove most of my sand so i can turn it up more.

Vivid's Rainbow Delight is very happy. Even has notable growth over the last few weeks. (not as quick as that snail though ;) )
