something on my yellow tang fin

Hello, everyone, I'm new here, someone help me, please.


I Woke up this morning and found out there is something on my yellow Tang ‘s fin. Any idea what is it???


No new fish was added last couple months. It was added to my fish tank 4 month ago this year.

The focus is a bit soft, but it looks like a strike injury. If the fish is acting fine in other respects, I’d just watch it for now.

Agree on injury which should heal on its own but monitor it for healing and not soreness. What other fish are in your tank?

I have 1 scopas tang, 1 foxface, and 1 blue hippo tang, 1 powder blue Tang, I have these 4 fishes for almost 2 years.


they all look healthy to me. Hopefully, it's an injury spot, not something disease.

Candidates for injury would be powder blue or Scopas tang
