OoOoOoO.

My order just showed up..
20180523_125347 by Elder1945, on Flickr
So much more planed! This tank is just getting started.. New Lighting hanging system on the way and full dosing and KHD setup to replace the computer... Time to go heavy SPS :).

I am extremely happy with the Orphek V4s on this system and plan on moving them to a un announced system.. :p Yes there are quite a few on the go..

I wanted to move to the Mitras LX7 as it fit in the GHL ecosystem.

With the control of the P4 Profilux and the KHD not to mention the 2 Doser 2.1 and all the accessory on my system it was a easy decision to move to the LX7 as it would round out the ability of my tank to be almost fully automated.. This is going to be needed as I am building more a more systems for my home.

I will have to retrofit and re build some things on my system but look forward to this as I have some great ideas... Including a hanging setup that will round out the look of my tank.

I will be at RAP NY this year for both days and plan on starting this part of the build after this. I have more live stock on the way including 6 yellow cap jawfish and 2 moorish idols.. Not to mention quite a few sps colony's.

Looking forward to seeing how you integrate the KH Director. I have also gone full GHL on my setup and have yet to hook up the KHD but will tackle this task soon as well. I'd be interested in your experience in this effort and whether you encounter any issues (bubbles in line etc.). And by the way, stunning setup. I just read this end to end over the last two days and its an amazing build.

Will be fun to follow your light transition as I've moving in the opposite direction (GHL -> Orphek). Mitras are a good looking fixtures with good spread and three may work out better for you than the two Orphek.

I bet the light mount you build will be gorgeous

That's a shame i really wanted to see the long term with the Orpheks, but i am just as curious to see the long term with Mitras too.

I don't have a nice shop like you so I had to get creative with my Atlantik v4 fixture

Look forward to whatever you do. Please use the Atlantik lights over sps! I am looking closely at them for an sps tank... replacing halide so they’d have big expectations of growth and coloration to fill.

You do not need to worry about this... I am planing my 3rd system right now 100% SPS.. Full grow out and more.. This is just the beginning of the lights. I wanted to move the GHL for the ease of use and the programming that the GHL system has.

Installing new lights :) The ecosystem is almost done!

So the idea was inspired by Sam from wet Work, We have started to work together and he sent me a photo of a light hanging system he had made... The second I was back from RAP NY I decided to throw one together with my own twist.
