Last picture of my 8 year old 75 gallon reef before I had to move to another state and shut it down. You can see my home made fish trap at center bottom
Although I started my first reef tank at home as previously posted- 36 gallon Corner Bow, I was never home enough to enjoy it. So I tried my hand at a Nano (almost Pico) reef in my office at work so I could have moments to de-stress.
This is not my first reef but a reef project I started at my last house over a decade ago. A local buddy of mine took the pictures for me when I hosted a meeting many years ago for the Cincinnati Reefkeepers Society.
It's cool to see some older tanks. I don't have many pictures of my older tanks sadly, here are those I do have ......
1997-2008 - this picture is after a major tank crash, so it looks awful. Ironically, my large magnifica anemone was the only invert to have been completely unfazed.
I wish I could find a picture of my old engineer goby tank. It was mad out of plywood with a glass front. It was 4' long and 12"x12". It was full of zooanthid rock from Florida (remember when you could buy that and ricordia rock)
Wow looking at my first tank looks funny, I didn't even have a power head... And my RBTA was walking upward....hahaha Back then I love softies and LPS, I still do!! I'm still noob at this hobby one day I want to be like others on here and have a awesome reef tank!
