Trying to figure out what kind of algae is growing

Hey guys, just trying to figure out what kind of algae I have growing I’m reasonably new to the saltwater hobby is there anyone that can point me down the right path.

Looks like the early stages of hair algae. Reduce phosphates to 0.03 and nitrates to 2-5ppm and manually remove as much of the hair algae as possible. This stuff can get pretty nasty quick.

It’s been ugly lol tried a 3 day blackout because I thought I had something worse and it all went away for a couple days after I took the cover off, then boom full blown algae… it’s kicking my butt

Let it grow out and burn off all that new tank crud. Just scrub off what you can and as time goes on it will change.
