Some people think certain shrimp pick at their zoanthids and that their hermits are model citizens. While some refuse to have any type of crab in their tank but feel like shrimp are an integral member of the clean up crew!

What about you?

What cleanup crew (cuc) inverts do you refuse to keep in your reef aquarium and WHY IS THAT?

I really only add hermit crabs, emerald crabs, and assorted snails for clean up crew. I have had really good luck with them not eating or bothering any corals.

From my experience a lot of crabs are opportunistic eaters. Especially if you don't feed a lot. They may be hungry enough to see how that prized coral tastes haha.
