Hey guys I have a RSM130 and I currently run a fishneedit.com 4X24 T5HO fixture, I want to retrofit 2 led strips to the fixture to add more light to my tank while still keeping everything compact, I haven't decided which brand I want to purchase yet however
Who makes the best led strip currently out that doesn't cost a fortune

I want an led strip that could support coral growth on its own because I don't just want to add the led's for the color "that is a factor though" but I want them to help coral growth
I will be purchasing 2 of them and they need to be NO LONGER than 24" since that is the length of my T5 fixture and I will be mounting 1 strip on the front of the fixture and the other strip on the back of the fixture

I think I am going to go with 2 of the Ecoxotic Panorama Pro units but am not sure which color I should get

The best and most affordable would be a DIY led strip with Cree bulbs IMO!

+1 on the true lumen. Color depends if you want more actinics or just light. I went with 50/50

I put 2 True Lumens in my RSM250. Went with those mostly because they are so sleek and fit in the hood. Plus I like that they swivel so I can aim them. Reefkoi makes some every similar to the True Lumens but don't swivel and are cheaper.

What pappy said, but I would go 50/50 with 420nm violets and 455nm royals, much nicer look!
