What is this goop in my carbocalcium?

1000ml carbocalcium bought back in April from marine depot during the great AFR shortage. Went to refill my dosing container tonight and spotted these nuggets in the bottom of the bottle.

I fished one out and it's got a very loose, goopy consistency. There's no smell from the mystery material or the carbocalcium liquid.

I've been using this bottle for months and it hasn't caused any issues in the tank. Anyone have any similar experience?
