If killing fish for 50yrs gives me street credentials then here is my 2 cents: speaking for myself I have tried every mix of salt under the sun and have concluded thatI will kill the fish far faster than any brand of salt will ... So if crappy Instant Ocean is on sale for 30 bucks then yes I will trust it for my 2000 bucks worth of livestock

Started with Rscp because when I set up the tank I didn't realize how import Alk stability was and thought anywhere is the 7-12 range was good.
I then switched to blue bucket because pros alk was way too high.

It's weird that most people seem to run Alk between 8-9 yet most salts mix outside this range.
