Hi,
My name is Brandon and I just recently joined R2R and decided to post here to say a few things about myself and tank!
I have had my tank setup since around this time last year, where I managed to score some great deals on a lot of different equipment. I currently have a 65 gallon 'reef' tank which is not really doing too well nor is it doing too bad. It basically is just getting by which is really upsetting! So I figured enough is enough! I am not going to try to fight this battle alone and will now ask for help (and lots of it)!
So about my tank, I have just a few inhabitants such as
Currently I have about 60 lbs of live rock, 2 bags of live sand, an Ecotech Quiet Drive mp40 powerhead, another random miscellaneous powerhead (hydor, or koralia? an ehiem pro 3 external canister filter, aquamaxx HOB protein skimmer, aquaticLife 4 bulb T5 fixture.
Sorry for the wall of text, just figured I would be as thorough as possible! I am looking to add a sump of some kind along with reactors and dosing pumps and controllers along with actually grow some corals and get something going in my tank rather than it being basically a tank filled with rocks and a few fish. I would love advice on anything and everything that comes to mind.
Thanks!
