I also am from Louisiana, Bogalusa is my city, though I dont usually claim it. Dont have any tank pics to show as Im right in the middle of my build up, but I have a few sketchups to share.

This is the plan, I have deviated from this just a bit, but for the most part this is how it will be in the end.

A few more details I have a 15 gallon QT tank that will be setup along with the 55, and I have 100lbs of portland cement and 75 lbs of rock salt waiting to be made into DIY live rock.

So far this seems to be a nice place. Just like the other guys, I was shows this site from the post your favs thread on another Louisiana reef forum.

LOL not everyday you meet someone online who knows how your town smells. Yes its still like that, but they are moving the chemical plant part of the mill, so in a year or so it wont stink anymore.

Nice to meet you guys. Im sure Ill have lots of questions. Thanks for the welcome.

BTW what the heck is casino cash?

Yes its done with google sketchup, and its not to scale. I dont plan to have 3 inch drains with a 1/2 inch return. Drains will be 1 inch, and the return in 3/4 soft tube.

The closed loop has 1 inch supplys, and 3/4 inch returns.

Its not in the model, but I will have 8 nozzles in the tank, coming from under the sand. They will be disguised with diy rock glued to them, and I plan to place some high flow frags on them.
