Since I'm sure there's a lot of reefers who have small sumps like me, I was wondering what reefers feelings were on chaeto reactors.

How did they do on nutrient export versus a similar sized refugium? A larger one?

How were they in growing pods and other microfauna vs refugiums?

How did you size your reactor? If it was a prebuilt model like the skimz, did you oversize or go with the smallest one rated for the tank?

Looking forward to hearing from people on their experiences.

I've only run a traditional fuge. A reefer in my area has done both and his feelings were that the nutrient export in the reactor was better but not as good at growing pods. His was a DIY reactor.
