My chainlink eel, Cirrhilabrus cf Cyanopleura, and my flasher wrasses.

Is the chainlink reef safe Duke? I saw one a couple of months ago while diving and it was beautiful!

It's been fine with 2 weeks to ago until I've had him a year. Mines a very picky eater and has never touched any type of fish, loves fresh clams, squid, and octopus. Tried cleaner shrimp and if more than 1, 1 would get eaten every other month, 1 lived for about 6 months. But he has left my hermits, snails, peppermint shrimp, and fish alone (they all sleep within his den area, firefish to wrasses).

How big was the 1 you saw?

Nice, how this is doing with reef?
Doesn't touch a thing, other than taking care of pesky aptasia. A lot of butterfly's get a bad rap for being difficult to care for and not being reef safe. However from my experience many of Chaetodon species is certainly worth giving a go. ( C. tinkeri, C. mitratus, C. declivis, C. burgess) along with the Forcipiger the Chelmon. Would love to see more of these guys in the hobby.

Chelmon Marginalis!

Of course! Can't believe I didn't recognize them. I wanted one very badly because of their reputation for being much easier to keep than CBB but I've been looking for one for 3 years and have never seen one. Wherever did you find them?

Three!!!
Only three???

Sorry, I can't do it.
There're so many "nice, peaceful and reef safe" fish that I like that I couldn't possibly limit it to three. :)

Now, if you made it the "Top 3 Ecsenius sp. Blennies for a Nano Tank", then I could possibly make it a top three list; possibly.

Name of these stuning wrases, please?

Picture on the right is a Potter's wrasse (Macropharyngodon geoffroyi), the fish on the left isn't a wrasse it's a Potter's dwarf angel(Centropyge potteri). Both live on the same reefs in Hawaii.

It's hard to select only three.
In my tank I would say my scarus quoyi parrotfish, pylei wrasse and hippo tang.
Scarus quoyi is awsome, beautiful, easy, active, funny and very social.
Pylei wrasse can be so attractive in details, a must for wrasse lover.
Hippo tang is classical, but so perfect, pure beauty, strong color, often very peaceful, very active and funny.
