Here are some random picture from my 40 Nuvo zoa dominated reef, I am a zoa addict and cant stop collecting these wonderful coral. I have found in my 10 years plus of reefing that mixed reef tanks are tough to keep going I believe it's because so many different types of species of coral require different levels and take a certain amount nutrition out of the water column it's thought to keep thing extremely stable. Now that's just my opinion, so I went with what I loved the most..zoas. Of course I have a few LPS laying around and two montis but that's it. This tank is a primary softie tank. Things just blow up in this tank by only doing a 5 gallon water change a week using redsea pro, using chemipure elite, and purgen, keeping my hands out of the tank as well. I also want to note that I frag like crazy, I feel that it's a important part of keeping your corals healthy and growing. When I frag my zoas they grow faster and bigger each time and it pays for my hobby. My next project is placing a 15 custom frag tank next to the nuvo, it will act as a frag tank, it's a AIO and will hopefully be in this week. It's going to lighted by a kessil a160w tuna blue everything will be controlled by my apex on the nuvo and kessil spectral controller. Super excited and will post build pics soon as I can start building the stand and getting stuff ready.
