Good Morning,

AI have a Tunze 5017 ATO that I purchased recently and the optical sensor has stopped working. I tried to soak it in citric acid and clean it but that didn't help and I need to figure out whom to get in contact with for a replacement

you can buy a new replacement for a reasonable price. I would try ebay if Tunze, BRS, or amazon doesnt have.

Hi there @Jbrown ! You can get with Tunze USA through the email [email protected]. @rvitko is in Germany at the moment at Interzoo, but he will get back to you with availability as soon as possible. Also in case this hasn't been eliminated yet, the sensor does work with infrared light. Depending on if you have a refugium light/ grow light and where you have the sensor, it can confuse it.

Here is a video on our YouTube channel and the sensor is mentioned around 21:30
