How much PAR are they getting?
Not quite sure, I don’t have a PAR meter though I’ve downloaded a couple apps recently for my iPhone that will hopefully give me a rough idea.

First attempt at fragging and I guess the end goal is pretty obvious: IMG_5445.jpeg IMG_5444.jpeg IMG_5443.jpeg

Main colony is unhappy but you wouldn't know I chopped some off:

Once my LFS opens up I will be selling this: (not the big LFS or the one I complain about but a third little one that always makes fair deals deals with me)

Sorry the fragging didn’t go too well. And yea I’m sorry I meant Poma labs.
What do you mean it didn't go well? I thought my fragging attempt was a success! Well maybe to early to say success but if those frags open up and start to grow then it will be.

That’s twice  First I send you to a Insta posting and now I think algae is coral. Oh boy:face-with-tears-of-joy:
No worries. The coral is the exact shade of purple as the Coraline algae I glued it to so I can't blame you haha!

Sat with the camera for a bit and got some beautiful shots:
I decided these were good enough au natural and used absolutely no editing for once:

Also I think my Benggai has eggs. I think this would be the third time.

I’m not a big fan of Fire Gobies but your’s looks really good! How well does your Mandarin eat? Doesn’t look skinny to my eye. Very pretty.
If the magnificent foxface is Swedish in design the firefish is anime. It is really pretty but lacks a bit personality wise.

As for the mandarins I do not know what exactly they eat just that they do. I think they eat copepods but mostly frozen. I got them when they were minuscule and probably less than 1/2 an inch. I think the male is about an inch now. They’re from Biota who I am most loyal to as every fish I’ve gotten from them has been very healthy. (I think I’m featured somewhere on their site and with the amount of promotion I give them maybe I deserve something in return….)

And just because it’s fun….

Happy nutramar liked what I said about them and commented on it. Most companies won’t do that unfortunately. Hoping your’s does.
Oh yeah I remember that. Very nice of them. Biota just asked if they could use my photos and quote me. Which was a nice surprise.

It’s the eyes mostly. They have those angry anime eyes.
