Anybody wanna come finish my day at work for me? I just want to go home and lay down with my awesome sleep mask that has a gel ice pack that my husband got me for Christmas.

Finally in the Gaelic Storm eraYes Amanda I thought we'd go to 2010 in honor of Camden's birthday year.
I believe he's 15 so 2025-15 =....
Oh never mind 2010 I guess....
My oldest was born at 35 weeks. He was in "step down" NICU for 10 days. They had to confirm that he could maintain body temperature and nurse for a given amount of time before they would release him. We had gone to visit my parents for new years, so he was born in Boise, Idaho. They wound up visiting us in the hospital for New Years. My son was a month and a day early (35 weeks, 6 days) so 1 day preterm and thus was considered premie. He was born 2 days before my Mom's birthday so we spent her birthday in the hospital because of my son's birthday. Poor mom.
For the record, he had to spend 5 days in NICU because he was "premie" but every day the nurses asked why he was there. They had to put him under a heat lamp a minimum of 1 hour each day just to justify him being there...
Definitely not me I’ve done more work in the last week than I have all this year…lolAnybody wanna come finish my day at work for me? I just want to go home and lay down with my awesome sleep mask that has a gel ice pack that my husband got me for Christmas.

You have every reason to worry lol. As a father myself, I'm scared for you!!Holy moly my youngest son is doing the dishes and I didn’t even ask? That’s off I hope he didn’t get into trouble and just hasn’t told me yet. Very suspect….
Yep. I had a delivery supposed to come yesterday. They said I could have it held for pickup if I wanted so I checked and it would cost them (starting at) $4.99 not to put it on the truck AND I still had to wait until today anyway. I said, time, spend your money and bring it to my house.Copepods and amphipods came in! I had them hold it at UPS and got a surprise fee at pickup so that kinda sucked. I let Dinkins know, while making it very clear I wasn't complaining, just informing for future reference, but if they didn't know that would happen then it appears there was a accident of some kind. It was only five bucks but hey, it is what it is.
Box was also smashed up pretty good and one of the bottles leaked. I left that part out though as that was obviously UPS fault and not theirs.
That said, very healthy looking population of pods and anphipods!
I have multiple skimmers in my garage. They're good for nutrient uptake if you need additional nutrient uptake. I always recommend running an oversized skimmer if you want a skimmer. They also help aerate the water.Question:
I don’t have a skimmer. Do I need one? What does it really do? What would be a good one for my system? How much are they usually?
It's redonkulous. I'm literally paying to go out of my way to pick it up from them... they're lucky i don't blame the drivers or I'd do what @OrchidMiss said earlier and ordered like 3,000 gal worth of saltYep. I understand that there's some inconvenience to them to make sure it doesn't go on the truck, but they scan everything. All they really have to do is change the barcode destination - oh wait, that's what I did when I submitted online.
So they can go outside and inside your sump? Does it come with a pump or do you have to buy a separate one?I have multiple skimmers in my garage. There are certain ones that are made to go outside the sump I don't know anything about them but the ones to go in the sump come with the pump.So they can go outside and inside your sump? Does it come with a pump or do you have to buy a separate one?
They need a sale again soon. I'm down to 1 box in the garage and 1/4 inside left. It's redonkulous. I'm literally paying to go out of my way to pick it up from them... they're lucky i don't blame the drivers or I'd do what @OrchidMiss said earlier and ordered like 3,000 gal worth of salt
Most come with a pump but if not it should say on the site. That said, I prefer internal that way if it leaks or overflows it's contained. Also if you dose anything that lowers oxygen levels, you can take the collection cup from your skimmer and just let it overflow back into the tank, oxygenating your water while not skimming out the stuff you out into itSo they can go outside and inside your sump? I ought to do the same thing honestly. I always end up ordering a box last minuteThey need a dale again soon. I'm down to 1 box in the garage and 1/4 inside left.
