Just scape the coralline off the plugs into the tank.Misc thought in regards to earlier qt or not to qt question: if I want coralline algae in my tank i need a encrusted frag plugs to throw into my tank but here's my other thought,do any corals have stony parts exposed where coralline could grow? My plan was to try and remove as much if not all the plugs on my new frags and put them on a new plug
Another case of "how much do I want to keep from getting in my tank" lol. Is there any way, like a dip? To keep any small eggs i can't see from getting in while I scrape?Just scape the coralline off the plugs into the tank.
I'm actually quite famishedFor all the sick ones , come, the food is almost ready, get well soon friends
Sorry if I'm asking you all a lot of question today lol, doesn't coralline algae come out on its own over time?Misc thought in regards to earlier qt or not to qt question: if I want coralline algae in my tank i need a encrusted frag plugs to throw into my tank but here's my other thought,do any corals have stony parts exposed where coralline could grow? It has to be introduced. It's a engrusting calcified algae I believe, and once it's introduced it spreadsSorry if I'm asking you all a lot of question today lol, doesn't coralline algae come out on its own over time?
ALSO, I've asked like a 1000 questions the last day or 2, I should be apologizingSorry if I'm asking you all a lot of question today lol, doesn't coralline algae come out on its own over time?
Yes, but it is introduced into some frag rock of some coral, what I mean is that it should not be added as something different or should it? Because I have never used coralline algae as a product and I have enoughIt has to be introduced. It's a engrusting calcified algae I believe, and once it's introduced it spreads
Eggs won't come off in dips.Another case of "how much do I want to keep from getting in my tank" lol. Is there any way, like a dip? To keep any small eggs i can't see from getting in while I scrape?
Right, so i was going to cut off as much frag as possible. I bought new plugs, glue, cutters etc. But if my plugs have coraline and I cut it off I won't get any introduced into my tankEggs won't come off in dips.
That's what we're all here for!ALSO, I've asked like a 1000 questions the last day or 2, I should be apologizing
I'm planning on cutting as much frag plugs off as possible. It's possible that I cut all of it off if it hasn't encrusted. In which point I don't think I would be introducing any into my tank. And my rock... is a gross green mess...Yes, but it is introduced into some frag rock of some coral, what I mean is that it should not be added as something different or should it?
