I’ve looked for chloroquine and haven’t had any luck.

From what I’ve been reading the humble fish method is a great qt process and api general cure along with feeding treated fish food has good results. (Little for uronema)

The fish that I get with open sores I will separate and see if they make it in a different qt tank.

The healthier fish I will watch and hopefully they don’t take themselves out in quarantine, was told this happens with chromis often

It will be difficult to keep most of them alive through this quarantine period of 30 days, if stuff goes south and I have mass casualties because of my qt setup I will dump them in my display tank after 14 days or so.

I don’t think I will have much time to ramp up the little guys and girls to the therapeutic 2.5 copper level. It’s gonna be much quicker than that.

I’m also gonna dip them in the two part blue stuff I got from brs ,I forget what it’s called.

If I have 70 percent survive I will consider myself lucky, 50 will look amazing in tank. I also ordered 20 blue/green chromis from lfs. I’m still waiting on that order to arrive and hopefully I get at least 10-15 from that order healthy and fully quarantined. I will also quarantine them for an additional 15 days for the second batch.

I wonder how the green chromis will react with the blue/green chromis?
Blue/green chromis are also sometimes called green chromis. Do you have the scientific names for the "green"?

lol, I really hope not. It’s been interesting having a reef tank with really nosy cats that like to “taste” everything.

I still haven’t installed my door back to fish room, and the cats have already chewed up the soft black silicone tubing on my deltec protein skimmer and all the white soft tubbing on the calcium reactor is chewed up too smh… thankfully deltec has replacement tubing available

I have two styrofoam lids over the 20 long sick tanks that currently have copper dosed in them. And worried the “tasters” will knock over lids and play in the water and I’m 100 percent positive that copper is no bueno for small “tasters”

I need to cat proof the fishroom, and make sure there isn’t kalk powder laying around or any dosing juices easily accessible. For now I have all the reef liquids/powders in storage bins. But I really need to cat proof the fish room so they can roam around freely and not get into stuff they shouldn’t be in.

My cats also have a special taste for all silicone hose, big and small, no matter the colour.
A fortune on hoses spent already...

Nice. Where does the plumbing come thru for the display? Is it still cycling or do you have some critters in there.

Drilling holes thru utility sink and sump, marked the future holes in yellow.

I have a bacterial bloom right now. :anguished-face:

Tank looks like reef soup, sucks cause I have my massive uv unit offline right now, that would probably clear up in 30 minutes.

I do have some reef inhabitant mostly for ugly stage/pest control.

1 Two Spot bristle tooth tang
2 Convict tangs
8 pin cushion urchins
1 cleaner shrimp
5 peppermint shrimps
1 lawnmower blenny
3 firefish goby
3 blue gudgeons
25 ish green chromies (currently) I think they have a fightclub after lights go out ‍♂️
1 filefish

Those holes go through the back and don't come out the front?

Asking for friend.

Its running like an all in one currently, just surface skimming and lots of flow. All params are good, except for the bacterial bloom. Fish and inverts are very fat and happy.

Its amazing how well this clean up crew is doing, rocks are squeaky clean wow!

i forgot to mention my 2 diamond gobies have the sand bed spotless, they are eating frozen brine shrimp. Hopefully they live a long time.
