[Tub Life]

Lifegard Pro-Max UV Sterilizer - 90 Watt​

Picked up a used unit.
Frankenplumbed it in to get it up and running!

Primary concern is to improve water clarity. Secondary is parasite control.

Powered by a dedicated Vivosun 3000gph pump.

Me water testing:
"I should probably zap the tubing onto the pump spigot"

Zap straps are in the garage, I'm in the crawlspace, I'll do it later.

Continue to tinker around and of course I knock the tubing off. Instant regret.

Black Bar Chromis spawn
1st time seeing them spawn
On the underside of a rock

Blue/green chromis seem to be constantly spawning. They like to spawn on algae.
You can see one of their spawns below.

Power outage again!
Power went out for about 9hrs.
We were home, so I was able to throw a powerhead on an inverter and keep some flow and oxygenation going.

no losses!
