I need some help with my flow, just upgraded from a 24x24 and I was able to get that tank dialed in. This one is throwing me for a loop, I have 2 MP40 on the overflow side, both my returns are 3/4 loc with vca rfg on them pointed at my center island with sps, problem is to I go low or high with the mp40s , tried both and no matter what the corals on the sand get too much flow. If the heads are low they get direct blasted if the heads are high the water flow back to the return side across the bottom is too much, any ideas?

Cubes are by far the hardest tanks for flow. I have two MP40s on full 100% next to over flow and two MP10 going into ranch on either side of my 24” cube. But i do have barebottom.

Have you looked into ocean motion with tunze attached or seasweep with tunze? i feel like those are the best solutions, rotating flow.

No I haven’t looked into those, where do you have the mp10s?

I have 2 sweeps with Tunze 6255 powerheads on my 59×30×21.
One would be all you need for random flow, imo.
8 months in and im still on the lowest setting.
They are worth a look.
