We moved our 75 into a 90 cause why not. The 75 was extremely old and the 90 was empty. Anyway, there is some more cleaning up to do and organizing but here’s a general idea.
Equipment is
2 AI prime 16hd
1AI hydra 32
1 coral life t5 fixture with a blue+ and coral+
2 icecap gyre 2k running at 50% each
Hob overflow
900gph return pump
Reef octopus hob skimmer.
sumpro UP14 sump

Currently looking at the coralvue control 2 system for it. I know we need a doser and an ATO currently have the lights and power head running off an old iPad that is stuck to the stand door. Also will be getting a macro algae reactor when needed.

Started the mushroom rock tonight and our little $20 petco leather is finally settling in. The new goby has also found the other one and the pistol shrimp and is bonded right up with them.

She is new about 6 days in the tank and she was accepted after about 2 days. The male is super cute. He will come out every once in a while and flare up and charge the glass when he sees us. I’m just glad him and the shrimp accepted her. I had read some horror stories of new additions not being accepted by one or the other.

Finally got a par meter today and tested it out. Was sitting around 230 at the highest point and I wasn’t happy with that. So I took apart and old Aquatic life t5 four bulb fixture and changed the light setup around. Took a lot longer than I thought it would. Tested with the par meter again and it’s hitting just under 300 at the highest point. I have to get some new bulbs for it and get some more blue going but right now I think it will do what I need it to.

The wife went to the fish store to return the or meter we rented and she picked up a candy cane and a fox tail. They have had neon green leathers there for Over a month that they weren’t selling due to recent fragging. They were all healed up today so she snatched one up. Will get a picture of that when it opens up.

Having stability issues so pulled the coral and put it in the biocube for now. Hoping to get it under control and figure out the lighting and flow soon.
