Depending on your tank, these should.have enough par to get to the bottom
They do, I’m getting 400 par at the bottom with only blues at 40% hung 12 inch from the water.

They are up and wow!!!! very impressed with the lights!!!! I have G6 xr15 lights on my frag tank and I cant tell the difference in how they look. This is 5 of the A8SE on a 200 gallon peninsula tank. I took a thingiverse.com design of a XR30 mount then added standoffs in the design to 3d print perfect mounts for extruded T-slot. If anyone wants the STL file to print these just shoot me a message with your email and ill email the file to you. I took par readings with the PHX14 light setting and all lights 20" off the water with the radion high intensity lens kits and I'm getting 500 par on upper rockwork, 400-450 par at mid rock and 300-350 par at the bottom of the tank. If I turn up all the channels to max then I'm getting over 700 par on top of rockwork so plenty of punch.

Are you concerned about the power supply being generic chinese compared to the x30 blue light

I did a quick video of adding thermal paste. Hopefully one of you can critique it. I do think I added more coverage than ecotech does.

I did exactly that and for some reason my lights broke. No wifi signal, buttons won't work and they don't blink or light up. I checked the connections and ribbon on the led board and everything looks fine. Lights turn on, but only full power

not at all, I don't think that is a big selling point for me. I have a few Chinese LED light bars with nothing special power bricks and going on 3 years with no problem. Also if one of the power supplies go bad its very easy to match the power supply output and get another one on google or ebay.

Ah. So the concern people have is brick failure, I thought it was getting too hot and catching fire

I've had led drivers fail on my and all they do is just go blank. no power getting to the appliance they are plugged into. I haven't heard of fires with these as of yet to be honest with you. I do have some very expensive Mean Well Led drivers on other things and they all get crazy hot.

here is a site that has all those mean well drivers which are the best and they are readily available if need be

I'm only a few days using these lights on phx14 setting and Its the best my corals have ever looked. I went from Metal halide to all t5 and now these lights really pop the fluorescence of the corals in the evening. Truly the best bang for the buck lighting I've ever seen in this hobby

Does anyone know if these will fit on any rails? I initially thought they were made to fit onto the Radion rail, but they seem like they are just for their arm mount.
