That should be perfect on a tank that size. Keep us posted on the progress. I only keep a haddoni nem now but at one point this tank had 48 bubble tips after splits

I'm new I've kept anemones in the past and that went to crap. I'm trying to restart with anemones.I would think it would attach and be ok but not having added one to dry rock I'm hesitant to say yes since I'm not really sure. I assume your talking about a bubble tip nem. Will your lighting support a nem? They need quite a bit of light to thrive. Just asking because it sounds like you may be new to keeping nems.
Wow truly beautiful reef congrats on having a successful tank! That should be perfect on a tank that size. Keep us posted on the progress. I only keep a haddoni nem now but at one point this tank had 48 bubble tips after splits
Be sure and cover any power heads. They tend to wander around until they find a spot they're happy with.I'm new I've kept anemones in the past and that went to crap. I'm trying to restart with anemones.
What do you mean? Do i remove my powerhead? I've heard they need strong flowBe sure and cover any power heads. They tend to wander around until they find a spot they're happy with.
Tuxedo urchin…. Also real good cleaners, especially for bubble algae. The bristle worms are actually a cleaner worm. The verta snails can be beneficial but their shells can damage coral. All in all the rock would have fine I would say.The anemone will attach to the dry rock with no issues IMO.
I’d consider some Mexican Turbo snails for the hair algae. If the bubble algae comes back, get emerald crabs from Reef Cleaners (online.)
They sell anemone guards for the powerhead because anemones tend to get shredded if they let go of the rock to find a new place to settle. What do you mean? Do i remove my powerhead? I've heard they need strong flow
You need an anemone guard over them. Just look up the power head you have and I’m sure they have an anemone guard for it. Anemones like good flow so I would not pull your power head outWhat do you mean? Do i remove my powerhead? I've heard they need strong flow
Sand has the bacteria as well and has a large surface area. You may get some algae on the new rock but that’s not going to be an issue for the nem.My new dry rock is about 2 weeks old when my sand is about 1 years old. Just to clarify its fine?
