I’m struggling with a coralvue launch. Was having issues with the upload, spoke with coralvue. They had me set up a hotspot on my phone and try the upload, worked as it should. This made them think there was an issue with my firewall. After struggling with it, I got a new router. it seems to be still having issues. I was on the phone with TPlink and got it to upload. With no change I’m having issues with failed upload. I’m kind of at a loss on what direction to go. Thanks in advance to any help.

Are you using a single modem? Mesh? How far from the launch is the router. Is there ducting between your router and the launch. Is your tank stand aluminum?

Lots of questions I know but answers will give a picture.

The more questions the better.

The old setup was a single router with a POE WAP.
The new one is a tp-link mesh.
I have one of the “nodes” in the same room as the tank, roughly 8-10 feet from the hydros.
The tank stand is aluminum, when doing the update I did have the stand doors open still with no luck.
WiFi light is green
Separate 2.4ghz specifically just for the hydros. When doing the update I do connect my phone to the same WiFi.

This was going to be what I would have said.... all these devices want old wifi, not new, but you're already doing that.

As a test you could force the issue and turn off 5g at your wifi/router.

Temp/test, if possible, with a physical cable between the router and the device.

You think even though the 5g is off for that specific network, since the main router is still allowing it it could be causing issue? The device is connected to the main router via Ethernet cable

No, if the device is directly connected then I can't imagine 5g being the issue.

Did you check the security setting on the 2.4Ghz network? Is it WPA, WPA2, or WPA3? Might need to set it to a lower WPA level.
