Anyone know what these white fluffy things on my zoas are? Initially thought just sponge but now that theres more Im unsure? Thanks in advance.

Tunicates do no harm that I'm aware of - they're filter-feeders. Sadly, they rarely survive long in our aquariums.

These appear to be irritating the zoas enough that the polyps are closing up. Seems harmful to me.

Have you got a pic under white light? At first glance seems a tunicate although it could also be nudibranch, do you see them move? Tunicate usually don’t grow on coral tissue.
