I've had a few corals that have come back from the very brink. Currently working on a VERY tiny plate coral that I got that did NOT do well in transit and lost almost all of its flesh, including its MOUTH. But lo and behold, I left it alone for a week and *some* tissue came back. Fast forward another two weeks and I've successfully fed it an NLS pellet for the first time today. Still a long road to go, but if this thing grows up, it'll be one for the record.

(shameless plug, using my @Reef Outfit frag transport, which I love)

Mouth gone. At this point, passed off for dead and left in the sand bed.

What's this? A bit of flesh 2 weeks later!

After periodically squirting OysterFeast/ROE at it for 3 weeks, it finally was able to eat an NLS pellet today!

Not the best back from the dead story but I was a complete noob at the time. About a year ago this frogspawn was losing polyps and there was some tissue recession going on. After a few months and some careful monitoring I was able to see the tissue heal and eventually another head grew which gave me a little bit more confidence in what I was doing.
