Unfortunately, once again there was a delay in shipment hence I had no choice but to use acriflavine mixed with malachite green, here are the update pictures, do you think his eye will recover or his he going to be blind in that eye?

To me it looks a little 'better' - but not a lot. I would suggest that the longer its a problem the more likely long-term scarring will be the result

At this point As long as he has the will to fight it I'll try my best, though for now i think I just wanna get him eating as soon as possible, the stress from the treatment likely is the reason on why he isn't eating since I believe that acriflavine is indeed a bit rough on a delicate fish like a convict, and i once again thank you for the guidance given!

Update: unfortunately the fish passed away this morning, i believe that it was because of not eating for i would say more than a week, him not eating was the main reason i was more concerned about, thankfully i was able to get a replacement from the lfs and the shipment will arrive most likely tomorrow (hopefully no delays again like before)

I sadly wasn't able to save him but that doesn't mean that the help was gone to waste, i really appreciate your advice and guidance which I'll definitely be able to use in the future so once again thanks so much!

As mentioned, these fish ship poorly especially those from Sri Lanka and they get thin and weak and wither away. Best is a 3" or more specimen that is proven eating.

The replacement which the lfs will be sending me has sent me a video of it eating, it's a bit smaller but I am sure that this time it will definitely be a success!
