Hi everyone, I red the first page- i thought i understood, then i red the entire 7 pages and now i am not sure :)
The bellow are my preffered chemicals. All I have to do is:

1. Sodium Carbonate - 594 grams (baked) - in 1 US Gallon
2. Calcium Chloride Dihydrate- 500 grams - in 1 US Gallon
3. Balling Part C - Is it 182 grams or 168 grams??? - in 1 US Gallon
Everything is dosed 1:1:1 ratio and according to the KH ( and hoping that Ca stays within acceptable range).
Magnesium is dosed only if there is a need (consumption).

Is the above correct? Are the numbers correct?

The balling part C is 182g

Everything from the first post is 100% correct.

If your corals and coralline are consuming alkalinity and calcium, then they are also consuming magnesium.

I suggest you add the extra magnesium from the first post and not bother testing the Mg.

I assume the 594 g here is the mass of the sodium bicarbonate before it is baked. If so, what should the mass of the resulting sodium carbonate be after baking?

594 g of baking soda converts into 375 g of sodium carbonate.
Anyone know if the pre-measured containers from BRS are close enough? According to the question sections of their website, the sodium carbonate container contains 355 g and the calcium chloride container contains 499 g, but I'm not sure if these numbers are accurate. The convenience of these is appealing as I'm dosing under 50 ml/day each, but I rarely change any water so ionic balance is important to me.

I never checked the sodium carbonate, but the calcium is spot on.

I trust them with measurements.
