I have the Duetto ATO 3 of them, to be exact, and they all seem to behave differently.

One the water level detection by the sensor isn't working correctly it pretty much is only working off the bottom point it won't fill up past it.

The second one will randomly dump a bunch of extra water and go over the sensor.

The third works perfectly.

It probably doesn't matter in larger tanks, but all of my tanks are sub-15 g, so it can create a bit of a swing in salinity. Does anyone else have issues with these? Not issues per se more like quirks.

I used a Duetto for roughly 6 months. Multiple times I caught it over filling my tank. Cleaning the sensor was not the issue. Since I could not trust it I went back to Tunze, and I have been very satisfied with the Tunze 3 Nano.

I went through two duetto over two years. The sensors seemed to get filled with condensation or saltwater and malfunction. Save up for a tunze for a better piece of mind.

I've had mine for about 5 years now. I had an issue for awhile that it would overfill. I moved the sensor to a spot that it was more shadowed from the light on a hunch. I've not had a problem since then. My experience may be purely coincidental.

Interesting. Mine just randomly adds a bit of water and there is seemingly no rhyme or reason why. I only notice that my rollermat goes crazy and starts sounding its alarm.

I'm going to give this a try and see if it makes a difference. It's in direct light now.
