EB832 Upgrade to Meanwell 12v PSU

Having repaired quite a few EB832s, I’ve yet to see a failed Meanwell PSU. Did you test it to confirm it has 120v AC and did not output 12v DC?

Regardless, if you believe it failed, you can replace it with an identical Meanwell IRM-05-12 or (my preference) the IRM-10-12.
I didn't . But the issue was I didn't hear the click sound when turning on. I will check for input and output and keep posted.

Also the back of the eb832 says intertek. So seems to be fairly new one.

Repaired it once before by replacing with the old style power supply. Definitely an easy enough repair, but now it's happened a second time. I'd really rather it didn't happen a third time.
