I'm in a similar boat - had a Clarisea on a tank a few years ago but I've been out the hobby since.. currently looking for stuff to buy now.Following, I've been wanting to get one myself and I am curious about the best one.
That's a new one to me, looks great for when space is tight!I use the gen2 Klir 7" drop in, and once you figure out the quirks, it works like a charm.
Redsea reefmat has worked like a beast for me. actually really impressed with the build quality
Two for the ReefMat - to be honest this is next on my list against the Clarisea. The Clarisea was great for me once it was running, but I found the structure of it to be somewhat brittle and easy to break bits off. It also seems most used examples have suffered similar fates.I've only used Red Sea ReefMat 500. I had it on my G2 200 and moved to my 500 Peninsula. I picked up a ReefMat 250 for the G2 200 when I moved it to the bedroom.
The only thing I had to do is clean the sensor every now and then. It's been pretty solid for me.
