He only looked on yt apparently. But that is a marketing video for the channel, so of course they have to create a sense of need to gain subs.

Searching the forum for something as simple as "chromis care" returns 20+ pages of results, and nothing on the first page of results really provided an answer that would be like what I believe Eli is trying to create with information about that type of fish, habitat, food requirements, etc. All of that information may indeed exist in this forum, but finding it quickly isn't so easy

@revhtree great idea! Can we create guidelines on here for fish and corals as its own educational part of the site? No need for videos, we can just have a list and information on it all that’s general consensus of our experts.

Videos have chapters. You can jump right to the chapter you want. Pretty easy actually

Not all videos have them. It's up to the creator to add them in. Example in the first few seconds of this video of what they look like:

BRS didn’t add chapters to that video. It’s one singular topic

If you go Show Transcript you can get a quick idea what is being talked about at which point.

For example, if you see the word “chromis” (or however YouTube’s AI captions it) then you can jump to that section.

Again, very easy and way faster than searching 38 pages looking for that one person who actually knows what they’re talking about

It takes about 5 minutes to add chapters. They are added in the description, and yt automatically indexes the video from them. The uploader labels them.
The format is like this:

00:00-00:30 Intro
00:31-01:25 Fish Care
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.
