I can't really capture this in a picture --- but I noticed around all my live rock (more pronounced on the underside) today there's like a "force field" of hazy white/clear-ness. It seems like it might be algae, but I can't tell?

I assume this is part of a tank maturing, but I don't remember anything in the "Ugly Stages" about this stuff.

It's more prominent on the underside of the rocks, and definitely moves with the current. It's only about 1-2mm thick, and none of the pictures I take really show it. I'd think my eyes were playing tricks on me if my family didn't confirm :)

I assume it's nothing, but since I can't Google-fu it, figured I'd check here.

The only thing I've changed lately is added some Activated Carbon to the sump.

My tank is just very new is my guess.

My params are 7.5 / 0.75, which I don't think are crazy in either direction.

But, it's a newer tank (2-3 months old), which means all kinds of things are still growing out.
