I am trying to build a saltwater mixing station with a Reef Octopus Water Blaster HY7000. I can't find an inlet conversion for PVC plumbing; the inlet size is 2 1/4, and I'm trying to convert it to 3/4 inches.

Any ideas on possibly converting or replacing this inlet will be appreciated.

You’re probably going to have to use several PVC adapters decreasing in size as you go. Don’t think they make a 2.25 to 3/4. May have to gradually add on until you get to the 3/4.

I would be okay with that, but I think this is not the US standard size; nothing I had fit to start downsizing. I am useless regarding plumbing and sizing. Is there a 2.25 PVC size available? I didn't find anything at the hardware store.
