The plumbing is done and everything has been leak tested. Next the carpenter comes and installs the trim and we discuss plans for the canopy. While I work on getting rock, sand, and water in the tank! And very soon Hewbie!

So much!I just saw the completed setup on IG!
It looks great! How much does Hewbie (and you, of course) love it?
He has an angelfish and a marine betta as tank mates! I plan on adding a tang and maybe more fish at some other time. This is one spoiled puffer, not that i wouldn’t do the same for my clown fish.
Any plans to add other fish to the system?
why is he so yellow? mine is so brown!Places Hewbie has been and survived! The ocean, a bucket on a boat, a holding tank, then shipped in a cooler to Quality Marine quarantine tanks, a bag, and sent to me in which I put him into a bucket and off to work with me the day I got him. Then a small 5-gallon tank for over a month where I fell in love with him and decided to keep him and I’m so happy I did. A brief few minutes in my little reef tank because I needed somewhere to put him then realized…oh shoot I can’t put you there! After that a bowl into a 75-gallon tank, another bucket, and then the first Rubbermaid tote for around a month after his home leaked, then off to a bowl to his new home a new 75-gallon tank. And during brief moments a bowl and container to be inspected…now back to a Rubbermaid tote for another month and a half, and finally another container before finally going into his new permanent home a 120-gallon tank. This to me shows the resilience of Hewbie. Has he been sick before? Of course like us he gets sick too but I’ve always been able to manage it and he’s always gotten better. I hope this new transition continues to go smoothly because as I look back on the time I’ve had him for he’s been the most resilient smartest fish I’ve ever had and probably will ever own. And he has my entire heart! So if there’s any fish I always recommend people get it’s a Hewbie. I mean just look at this adorable little face.
They come in various shades and can change color based on how they are feeling/as a response to stress and depending on where they are found in the world. As they get older I have seen them darken as well.why is he so yellow? mine is so brown!
How long have you had yours for? What size tank and what’s his name?why is he so yellow? mine is so brown!
I've see "Puff" spontaneously blow up twice. once when my daughter ran past the tank, the other I think was bathing in the wave flow. but my rock is dark so was thinking camouflage. but one of the wife's favorite fish because it come right over to her and followers her around. They come in various shades and can change color based on how they are feeling/as a response to stress and depending on where they are found in the world. That too! And lighting can make all the difference in how they look. Is he always that dark or does he ever lighten up? Hewbie definitely will change shades when he’s stressed or when he’s sleeping.I've see "Puff" spontaneously blow up twice. once when my daughter ran past the tank, the other I think was bathing in the wave flow. but my rock is dark so was thinking camouflage. but one of the wife's favorite fish because it come right over to her and followers her around.
