How many fish?

Size isn't the only requirement. Having sufficient caves and what not for personal space comes into play. If you don't have a calm area that each fish can sleep/hide, you're over stocked.

I learned it from saltwater aquariums. Anyway it's just a more of a guideline not a strict rule or anything. I'm talking about bio load not fish aggression anyway.
